Stop Union-Busting at SMM!
Alison Rempel Brown, President and CEO, Science Museum of Minnesota; Juliette Francis, Vice President of People and Museum Culture, Science Museum of Minnesota
The Science Museum of Minnesota Workers' Union filed an election petition with the National Labor Relations Board on November 14th with a proposed wall-to-wall bargaining unit of all eligible full-time, part-time, occasional and seasonal employees, as well as a request for a mail ballot election.
Since then, museum management has hired a union-busting law firm and launched an aggressive anti-union campaign. From the outset, management has committed to voter suppression via attempts to prevent workers from voting and by insisting on an in-person vote. The museum claims to value equity and collective liberation—now it's time to live those values. Help us show the museum that the community stands with workers.

We support SMM workers' democratic right to form a union and bargain over their working conditions.
We call on management to end their union-busting campaign and stop wasting money fighting their own staff.
