Calgary Transit employees do critically important work across the city. We stand united to protect the communities we serve, including Calgary’s most deserving, our passengers. Recent city council decisions to privatize transit seeks to undermine dedicated public servants, many of us who are transit passengers. At a time of grotesque cut-backs, Calgary’s public sector represents one of the most diverse workforces in the country. To serve our passengers and citizens, and hold the line on growing cutbacks, we stand united in our belief that public transit plays a crucial and unique role in Calgary. We stand united against all efforts at privatization, none of which have ever proven to improve services or outcomes. We stand together for our coworkers, our families, our communities and our passengers!
