The Biden White House has told the public that when we transfer weapons to allied militaries, it is under the assumption that those weapons will only be used in accordance with international law. Despite that fact, international journalists have documented multiple accounts of the IDF deploying these weapons against civilians in Gaza and Lebanon.

Representatives of the Biden administration have promised the public that weapons we supply to our allies will not be used to violate human rights. But that is exactly what the Israeli military is doing with white phosphorus in Gaza and Lebanon.
The New York Times, Reuters, and the Washington Post have documented credible incidents of the IDF deploying these weapons on civilian targets, or in populated civilian areas. Non-Governmental Organizations like Amnesty International have interviewed on-the-ground witnesses to confirm these reports.
White phosphorus is an unconscionably brutal weapon to use on civilians, especially people with limited access to medical care and emergency services. Fires started with it will burn for indefinite periods of time. Civilians suffering burns from it on just 10% of their bodies frequently die.
As an American, I demand that the Biden administration cease supplying the IDF with white phosphorus based weapons.
