Support Access to Harm Reduction
SUPPORT
The Recovery Advocacy Project (RAP) is a network of people and organizations across the country advocating for addiction recovery policies. RAP is committed to giving people in recovery from all pathways, family members, and supporters of recovery the grassroots organizing tools to think and act locally. RAP is working to build a visible and effective constituency in demand of community and public policy-based solutions in response to America’s long-standing addiction crisis.
Join other grassroots activists in supporting access to harm reduction services, including wider distribution of life-saving naloxone and the decriminalization of fentanyl test strips.

As a proud supporter of recovery, I endorse the Idaho Recovery Advocacy Project's Platform.
The platform was created after listening to people in recovery with lived experience,
impacted family members, and allies who provided input from harm reduction and justice involced polulations.
People in recovery have value and can be a resource to decision makers all across Idaho. Idaho- Recovery Advocacy Project is working to build an impactful grassroots advocacy network in demand of community and public policy based solutions in response to America’s long standing addiction crisis.
The platform will guide future actions through community or legislative based campaigns.
The Idaho platform includes the priority of Recovery Support Services by expanding access to peer driven recovery support programs & community centers regardless of race, socioeconomic status, neighborhood, or orientation. We will also advocate to improve early recovery & systems navigation for those seeking help.
There will be a focus on the expansion of quality supportive recovery housing programs, and Safe & affordable housing for justice involved populations
Harm Reduction is essential in the platform as we work to expand distribution of Naloxone to prevent overdose deaths, and reform Idaho’s paraphernalia law to decriminalize fentanyl test strips.
There will also be a highlight on Reentry populations as we work to advocate to
increase Employment Opportunities including recovery friendly workplaces, reform mimimum sentencing guidlines, and advocate for meaningful record expungment to remove barriers.
I am supporting the Idaho Recovery Platform today and organizing others to do the same.
