On Tuesday July 13th, the Board at Gompers Preparatory ratified and adopted the collective bargaining agreement between Gompers Preparatory Academy and Gompers Teachers Association.

We hope that this action marks the next step towards unity and healing within our incredible Gompers Family.

However, right-wing groups continue to publicly attack and harass dedicated teachers at Gompers Preparatory as they push their anti-union agenda and attempt to union bust the teachers by any means necessary.

We will always continue to be devoted to our students and their families. As such, right-wing groups like For Kids & Country, Rebecca Friedrichs and the San Diego Education Justice Warriors have no place at our school.

We call upon the Gompers Preparatory Academy Board of Directors and our community to denounce these groups and their attacks on our GPA community.

Supporting students means supporting teachers.
