Support USW Workers at Express Scripts
Express Scripts Management

Some 1,600 members of the United Steelworkers (USW) in five states have been in negotiations with Express Scripts since June 25, 2015. Since then, Express Scripts has been unrelenting in its attempt to strip these workers of their quality health insurance, insisting on a plan that would result in thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket costs each year before the insurance even kicks in.
In contrast, the USW offered a plan that would significantly lower costs for Express Scripts while still ensuring quality health care for workers. Express Scripts has largely ignored this proposal.
Like many Americans, these workers have families depending on them for care. Most have not received a wage increase in more than four years. They have ongoing medical conditions, and they cannot afford useless insurance. Express Scripts made $8.4 billion in profits in 2015, thanks in large part to the hard work and sacrifice of union members.

I support the 1,600 members of the United Steelworkers fighting for a fair contract at Express Scripts.
I believe that the people who are responsible for filling and distributing prescriptions should be able to afford their own medical care.
Workers at hugely successful companies like Express Scripts should never have to forego treatment or seek cheaper, less-effective alternatives so that top executives can get even bigger raises.
It’s time for Express Scripts to bargain a fair contract, one that accounts for what these 1,600 USW members have contributed to the success of this company.
