Tell SEGA of America leadership: Live up to your values & support workers’ rights!

Sega of America Leadership

A supermajority of workers at Sega of America have announced that we are forming a union, Allied Employees Guild Improving SEGA (AEGIS-CWA), with Communications Workers of America. We are the workers behind the U.S. versions of successful franchises like Like a Dragon and Persona. In the interest of delivering the best quality products to our fans, we are organizing to have a seat at the table to improve our working conditions.

As a Sega of America fan, customer or community member, you can support us by signing this letter asking Sega of America leadership to take the high road and commit to union neutrality: meaning they will not interfere with our right to organize.

As a Sega of America fan, I’m calling on you to take the high road in your labor standards by remaining neutral and not interfering in your workers’ democratic right to organize.

Microsoft recently showed what a high road employer looks like with ZeniMax Workers United: signing a neutrality agreement with CWA, training managers on how to be union neutral, and allowing ZeniMax workers to make their own decision completely free of management interference.

I ask that Sega of America make the same commitment with AEGIS-CWA. All of this is in line with SEGA Sammy Corporation’s code of conduct to “respect our employees’ right to organize for labor-management consultation.”

As a Sega of America fan, I believe Sega of America will make the best games and be most successful when its workers have a seat at the table, and call on you to be neutral and respect your workers’ democratic right to organize without interference.
