Tell Attorney General Grewal: Use Sackler $ to expand access to treatment
Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal
In 2018, 3,118 people died of a preventable opioid overdose in New Jersey and there were over 14,827 naloxone (NARCAN) administrations. It's time to take urgent action for our families and communities.

Dear Attorney General Grewal,
We appreciate the lawsuits you’ve filed against the Sackler family and Purdue Pharmaceuticals. We need to hold them accountable and make them pay for the damage and lives lost because of their role in creating the overdose crisis.
It is critical that any funds secured through this lawsuit go to communities across NJ that have been harmed - all of our communities. We are asking that New Jersey prioritize funding evidence-based treatments that everyone can access - including people on Medicaid, Medicare, and without insurance - no matter if they live in urban or rural communities.
