Tell Audubon Leadership: Fair Contract Now!

Audubon Leadership

The National Audubon Society must bargain a fair contract with their workers that provides good living standards, and ensures the nonprofit’s enormous assets do not flow to top executives at the expense of workers and the birds they protect.

To address pay disparities, we are fighting for:

  • 4% across-the-board-raises—not Audubon's proposed discretionary increases that leave workers uncertain how much of a raise they'll get, if any at all.

  • 12 weeks fully paid parental leave—instead of the mere 2 weeks members currently receive.

  • A stream-lined job classification structure that ensures pay equity.

I wish to express my deep commitment to advancing the well-being and fair treatment of all National Audubon Society workers. I believe that their work is integral not only to the bird conservation, science, advocacy, and education work that I value, but also to the overall success and reputation of the National Audubon Society.

Recognizing the importance of their roles, I stand firmly in solidarity with Audubon workers who are fighting for living wages, pay equity, safe working conditions, affordable healthcare, and job security.

With a fair contract, Audubon workers will have the rights, benefits, and compensation to secure their livelihoods.

I firmly believe that Audubon’s success lies in the happiness, well-being, and empowerment of its workers.

By signing this pledge, I am stating to both Audubon’s management and the broader public that I value the people who make bird conservation possible.
