Cecilia Muñoz was one of the key architects of President Obama’s 3 million deportation strategy, justified deportations as “collateral arrests” and instead of being held accountable for her role in these deportations, she’s getting rewarded.
It’s unacceptable that President-elect Biden has tapped Cecilia “Even Broken Laws Have to be Enforced” Muñoz to join his transition team. If Biden is serious about addressing the issues affecting immigrants, he will keep Muñoz and others who enabled the abuse and deportation of 3 million people far from his administration.
