Tell Bitmitigate to drop 8chan as a client

MoveOn needs your support to put an end to dangerous online movements – add your name.

8chan is the most dangerous hate site in the world, linked to 7 mass shootings since 2017 including El Paso and New Zealand. The site cannot operate without the protection of cyber security services offered by a handful of firms. After the 8chan-inspired shooting in El Paso, the security firm Cloudflare dropped 8chan as a client. The lawless hate site went down immediately. But now Bitmitigate, another security firm, says it will protect 8chan.

This is not the first moral failing for Bitmitigate. After the 2017 Charleston chruch shooting, the pro-Nazi site The Daily Stormer lost its security firm. But Bitmitigate announced it would take on this hateful client, and has protected the site for two years now.
