TELL Congress: Demand the release of Asim Ghafoor from UAE custody!

Asim Ghafoor is the attorney for Jamal Khashoggi and a current board member of Democracy in the Arab World Now (DAWN).
Asim has been unlawfully held and sentenced to three years in prison by the Government of the United Arab Emirates on false charges of tax evasion. Mr. Ghafoor was tried and convicted in absentia without a representing attorney or counterargument against the government.
As President Biden has concluded his first trip to the Arab Gulf States and around Western Asia, we demand that he calls for Asim's release from the UAE and be returned to his family safely.
Tell Congress, to condemn Asim Ghafoor's unlawful imprisonment and call on President Biden to demand his release.

I am a constituent in your district that is troubled by the unlawful imprisonment of Asim Ghafoor, an American Lawyer that has represented murdered Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi and his family.
