Republican leaders are racing to pass a bill that will gut the Affordable Care Act, slash Medicaid and throw up to 32 million people off their insurance—all while handing huge tax breaks to corporations and the wealthy.
This plan would be catastrophic for working Americans, especially seniors and moderate-income people. Millions will be forced to pay more for less coverage, from sky-high deductibles to massive premium hikes. And people who get insurance through their jobs will face a tax on workplace health benefits.
We all need to speak out and demand that Republicans stop their reckless attempt to take health benefits away from millions of working people.
