We are in a climate emergency. Therefore we need to do all we can to prepare and reduce the impacts of climate change — regardless of who is in charge.
Yet our progress is in jeopardy. From dubbing LNG as "freedom gas" to the rallying cry of "drill, baby, drill," president elect Donald Trump has consistently vocalized his hostility to clean energy. But the climate doesn't recognize elections or campaigns – regardless of who is in charge, without productive and rapid climate policy, greenhouse gas emissions will cause havoc throughout the world.
Please do what you can to:
* Prevent cuts to the EPA budget or other critical climate agency budgets
* Reject bad amendments or riders to must-pass bills
* Prevent legislative language from passing that increases reliance on fossil fuels or weakens key climate programs
