Tell Donald Trump to fire Alt Right publisher Steve Bannon
Donald Trump
In the wake of the neo-Nazi "Alt Right" violence and terrorism in Charlottesville, Virginia -- and Donald Trump's refusal to condemn the Nazis by name -- let's not forget that the Alt Right works at the highest levels of Donald Trump's White House. Trump hired Alt Right publisher Steve Bannon to be his top strategist, and to this day Bannon continues to work by the President's side.
Donald Trump needs to fire Steve Bannon now, and make a clear statement against the violence and racism of the Alt Right white supremacists.
Steve Bannon was, up until a few months ago, Executive Chairman and part owner of the Alt Right Web site, Breitbart; a site that revels in launching racist, sexist, homophobic and anti-Semitic attacks on anyone they disagree with. Bannon has bragged that Breitbart is "the platform for the Alt Right." And Bannon, a sympathizer and enabler of these white supremacists is now working in the White House.
It's time for Donald Trump to fire Steve Bannon, and finally show
The Anti-Defamation League and the NAACP have called on Trump to replace Bannon:
Add your name to the right, and call on Donald Trump to do the right thing and fire Steve Bannon.
Here is MSNBC's Joy Reid on "Meet the Press" talking about how Trump surrounds himself with too many Alt Right sympathizers:

Here are a few Breitbart headlines, to appreciate just how bigoted and hateful the site is:
"Birth control makes women unattractive and crazy."
"Gay rights have made us dumber, it's time to get back in the closet."
"Bill Kristol: Republican spoiler, renegade Jew."
"Would you rather your child had feminism or cancer?"
More from ABC on Bannon's "nationalist ideas and hatred for immigrants":
In an interview with ABC News' "Powerhouse Politics" podcast, a former Breitbart spokesman, Kurt Bardella, described conference calls with Bannon similar to "attending a white supremacist rally" and accused Bannon of having nationalist ideals and "hatred for immigrants."
Under Bannon’s Leadership, Breitbart Openly Embraced The White Supremacist Alt-Right. Andrew Breitbart despised racism. Truly despised it. He used to brag regularly about helping to integrate his fraternity at Tulane University. He insisted that racial stories be treated with special care to avoid even the whiff of racism. With Bannon embracing Trump, all that changed. Now Breitbart has become the alt-right go-to website, with Yiannopoulos pushing white ethno-nationalism as a legitimate response to political correctness, and the comment section turning into a cesspool for white supremacist mememakers.
And now Bannon's ex-wife claims that Bannon objected to the number of Jews attending his girls' school.
Enough is enough. Nothing gives Donald Trump the right to install a white nationalist sympathizer and enabler at the highest rungs of the White House.
Join me in calling on Donald Trump to fire Steve Bannon.
Thanks so much. Together we can make a difference, and we will take our country back.

Steve Bannon has openly-welcomed, embraced and enabled the Alt Right, a movement of white nationalists, racists, sexists, anti-Semites and homophobes. That kind of hate and bigotry has no place in America, and most certainly shouldn't be rewarded at the highest rungs of the White House. We call on you to fire Steve Bannon, and keep your promise to run an administration for all Americans.
