Despite having a numerical majority, a number of Democrats elected to the State Senate are considering allying with Senate Republicans, keeping the Republican minority in control.
We can’t let that happen. And Governor Cuomo should stop it.
If NY is going to respond to the Trump administration’s extreme right wing agenda, we need a state government that can pass forceful, progressive legislation that lifts up working people. We can’t do that with a State Senate hijacked by a Republican minority that has stood by Trump since Day One, no matter what he's said or done.

We need a state government that can work to actually pass forceful progressive laws to counteract Donald Trump's extreme right-wing agenda. We can't do that if the State Senate remains in control of a Republican minority that has stood by Trump since Day One, no matter what he's said or done.
