Most Montanans agree that working people should have the freedom to join together in strong unions if they choose to. HB168, HB251 and SB89 are an attack on Montana workers’ freedom to negotiate, and would affect the quality public services we all rely on.
For almost a year now, nurses, teachers, corrections officers, firefighters, state troopers, and all other essential workers have been putting their health at risk to keep us safe and keep our communities functioning. Now, through HB168, HB251 and SB89, their wages, benefits, pensions and voices are under attack. It’s one heck of a way to say “thank you.”
Governor Greg Gianforte claimed he was on the side of Montana’s workers during his campaign — now it’s time to prove that he’s a man of his word. Sign our petition to tell Gianforte and the Montana Legislature to support our frontline workers by publicly opposing HB168, HB251 and SB89.
