America needs a federal ban on assault weapons and hi-capacity magazines now.

These weapons of war are the choice of mass shooters, as we have seen in Las Vegas, Thousand Oaks, Pittsburgh, Pulse Night Club and Sandy Hook - just to name a few horrific incidents.

Now that the 116th Congress is in session, I urge you to bring Rep. Cicilline's legislation banning assault weapons and high capacity magazines forward for a vote by the House.
