Pre-K programs across the state give children the chance to develop much needed emotional, academic, and social skills they may otherwise lack when entering kindergarten.

Programs across Pennsylvania rely on funding from the state to help our kids grow, develop, and thrive.

Children who attend high-quality programs have a reduced likelihood of criminal behavior, higher chances of being employed as adults, increased lifetime earnings, and less reliance on welfare.

Sign the petition telling state legislators to invest in public education, specifically in Pre-K programs.

WE THE UNDERSIGNED, call on our Governor and the General Assembly to pass a budget that INCREASES funding for public education, most specifically funding for Pre-K programs that help our children grow, learn, and prepare for successful lives well beyond early childhood.

We must significantly increase funding for Pennsylvania public education and Pre-K. One way to do this would be to fix Pennsylvania's upside-down tax system. It's time to have the political courage to find the necessary revenue to invest in our communities.
