Our Revolution Buffalo Grove and Our Revolution Lake County are proud to stand up in IL-10 and ask Representative Schneider:

1. Don't block Medicare for All in Ways and Means Committee, and
2. Cosponsor Medicare for All

Congressman Schneider is so important in this fight for healthcare as a human right because he sits on the Ways and Means Committee. That means even if he isn't your Representative, he has a say on whether or not we even get a House vote on NIM4A (New and Improved Medicare For All) before 2020.

The recent article about Rep. Schneider, “Wife of Rep on Health Subcommittee Is Trading Health Stocks,” points to tax documents suggesting a vested interest in keeping the status quo in for-profit healthcare. While we continue to negotiate in good faith with him, we are telling him that in a Democrat-controlled House, policy that is supported by 70%+ of Americans shouldn't die in committee!

We deserve to have our elected representatives demonstrate that they do support HEALTHCARE AS A HUMAN RIGHT! Ask Congressman Schneider to please support this through Ways and Means! Then ask him to co-sponsor the bill! Americans are more aware than ever that the greed in our for-profit healthcare system has become so bad that we are dying younger and have lower quality of care than any other industrialized country.
