People seeking refuge are being physically torn from their children while screaming and clamoring to hold them. Mothers surrender their children to agents who say they will take them to have a bath... to learn hours later that their children will not return. This "policy" is completely inhumane. It must end. It must.

Senator, JFK once said that the hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, preserve their neutrality.
Right now, people who are seeking refuge in our country are being physically torn from their children while screaming and clamoring to hold them one last time. Mothers surrender their children to agents who say they will take them to have a bath... only to realize hours later that their children will not return. Six year olds cling to drawn pictures of their families, asking again and again when they will be reunited. This "policy" is immoral, inhumane, and abhorrent.
The entire world is watching our country. Our entire state is watching you.
Senator, this is that time of great moral crisis that JFK spoke of. As a leader of our state and country, this is not a time for you to remain silent.
