Tell Sprouts That Workers Deserve a Living Wage!

Sprouts Farmers Market

Sprouts Farmers Market is one of the fastest-growing grocery companies in the country, but many of us who work there are struggling to live on low and unfair wages.

Now months into a global pandemic, it is more important than ever that we have the resources to provide for and protect ourselves and our families. Sprouts has labeled us as “everyday heroes” yet continues to treat us as disposable and refuses to provide hourly hazard pay.

This crisis has only increased Sprouts’ profits, and we believe this success should be shared. We're proud to have built a successful company and know that Sprouts can afford to pay us a living wage and provide us consistent hours. This is why we're asking you to add your name and tell Sprouts that:

  • We deserve wages we can afford to live on -- Sprouts workers should never struggle to pay the bills or meet basic needs. As the cost of living increases, so should wages to ensure that Sprouts workers can provide for themselves and their families.

  • We deserve $2/hour hazard pay -- Highly-taxed bonuses are not the same as hourly hazard pay. Until the threat of COVID-19 is no longer in stores, we deserve real hourly hazard pay.

  • We deserve consistent hours and reliable schedules -- Increased wages and new hires are not an excuse to cut hours. Sprouts can afford to keep us working.

  • We deserve to have wages that match our level of experience and never make less than new hires -- As the company brings new employees onboard and increases introductory pay, workers with experience in the store should also be paid accordingly.

  • We deserve to keep our pay rate when transferring departments -- When a Sprouts worker decides or is asked to change departments, they should never have to take a pay cut.
