Sign the petition to tell the Trevor Project: Quit your union busting!

Friends of Trevor United-CWA 1180 workers are strongly united in the fight for our first-ever union contract! We're fighting for a better future for ourselves, the LGBTQ+ young people we serve, and the organization we care so deeply about. But management is dragging their feet and claiming financial hardship to justify recent layoffs that disproportionately targeted union leaders, union members, and public union supporters-even as they've refused to provide us with their financial data.

Join us in calling on The Trevor Project leadership to quit union busting and start bargaining in good faith!

As a strong supporter of The Trevor Project, I understand how essential the workers are to the organization’s mission: supporting LGBTQ+ young people, advocating against injustice and inequity, and lifting up the community is vital to the organization’s core vision of ending suicide among LGBTQ+ young people.

Just like the LGBTQ+ young people central to this mission, workers of The Trevor Project deserve a safe, equitable, and dignified workplace. That means respect on the job, transparent and honorable bargaining with the union, and a fair contract; free from bad faith bargaining and retaliation.

I am calling on Co-Founder and Interim CEO Peggy Rajski, Board Chair Julian Moore, and The Trevor Project Board of Directors to work with the unionized workers to build a strong organization that can truly fulfill the mission of protecting LGBTQ+ youth by immediately putting a stop to its union busting tactics and bargain with the union in good faith.
