We hear daily about the cuts being made to services impacting vulnerable children, the disabled, education and in other critical areas across Nebraska. Simultaneously, the needs in our communities rise and we are constantly being asked to do more with less. Any additional deep cuts to our revenue base will only make matters worse.

While I appreciate the difficult job you face, the communities across Nebraska that will be impacted by these budget cuts are not a special interest. We are your constituents and your neighbors. And together, we share a vision for the Good Life for all Nebraskans, not for just a few millionaires who stand to benefit from these cuts.

Please oppose any legislation that will put additional burdens on the backs of those who can least afford to bear them. Our families, our communities and our future are counting on your thoughtful leadership.
