Did you know each Colorado governor develops a suggested budget for the year ahead and then sends it to the legislature for approval? For 2020, Governor Polis has set aside $10 million in his budget for implementing Colorado’s Water Plan, and this funding is an important step towards ensuring the health of our rivers! The Colorado Legislative session opened on January 8, and now it's up to our lawmakers to approve the Governor's budget.
