Sad news, Nation. After nine incredible years, Stephen Colbert is signing off from "The Colbert Report" to take over "The Late Show" on CBS from David Letterman.

Colbert is one of the great satirists of our time and, while we'll miss him dearly here at Daily Kos, we wish him luck in the future.
