We respectfully demand that you remove Compton College President/CEO Dr. Keith Curry and VP Sheri Berger from their positions and replace them with leaders who will turn our beloved College around.

The Academic Senate and the Compton College Federation of Employees Classified and Certificated Unions stand united behind their Vote of No Confidence in President/CEO Dr. Keith Curry’s and VP Sheri Berger’s tenure. Based on the devastating decade-long decline in student enrollment, the negative climate of our institution, the low employee morale, and overall lack of trust in our administration, we must have a change in our leadership in order to save Compton College from imminent insolvency.

With a new President/CEO and VP of Academic Affairs leading the administration, the entire staff and faculty of Compton College firmly believe we can improve from our current state of peril. New leadership will be able to do what Keith Curry and Sheri Berger failed to do, which is increase recruitment and retention, offer all the courses needed for students to complete their programs, and rejuvenate campus morale by engaging in true shared governance across all campus constituent groups and by implementing our strategies and ideas for student success.

Honor the Vote of No Confidence Resolution that was affirmed in a landslide victory vote from the Classified Union, Faculty Union, and the Academic Senate bodies at Compton College by immediately terminating Dr. Keith Curry and Sheri Berger from their respective positions. The unified constituents at Compton College deserve new leadership now.
