Like many throughout the country and the world we want tolerance to be one of our central civic virtues. I was shocked by your statements concerning immigrants from Mexico and other countries.

As leaders in the hospitality and gaming industries, we see the contribution of immigrant workers everyday. Immigrant workers and employees matter - they contribute to our communities and support our churches. We are proud of them and we think you should be too.

Your anti-immigrant statements do not reflect well on our industry and it is unacceptable.

You have said that many of your employees are Mexicans and South Americans and that you love them. All workers deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I urge you to apologize to the thousands and thousands of immigrant employees, members, and their families and tell them that they are appreciated and that they deserve to be treated fairly and equally.
