Twitch has an Antisemitism Problem

Remove CEO Dan Clancy

The Issue

Hold Twitch Accountable – Demand Dan Clancy’s Resignation to End Antisemitism on the Platform

To Twitch Executives, Advertisers, and the Global Community:

Twitch has become a breeding ground for antisemitism and extremist rhetoric. Streamers openly promote hate against Jewish communities, and disturbingly, Twitch’s leadership has tolerated this by allowing streamers like Hasan Piker—who has live-streamed with individuals connected to terrorist organizations—to continue broadcasting unchecked. This toxic environment threatens the safety of millions and normalizes hate, as Twitch turns a blind eye.

In today’s society, activists across platforms push for accountability, yet Twitch leaves Jewish voices out of the conversation. Without action, antisemitism will further empower extremists, fueling real-world violence and endangering communities worldwide.

This cannot be allowed to continue. Dan Clancy’s inaction and tacit support of these hate-filled spaces demand that he resign immediately. His tolerance of antisemitic content is unacceptable for the head of a global platform.

What We Demand:

1. Zero Tolerance for Antisemitism: Twitch must permanently ban streamers who promote hate against Jewish communities or associate with individuals connected to extremist organizations.

2. Enforce Community Standards: Twitch must act in accordance with its own guidelines to create a safe, inclusive platform.

3. Executive Accountability: Dan Clancy’s resignation is essential to show that Twitch is serious about taking a stand against antisemitism and hate.

Sign the petition to stand against antisemitism and demand a safer Twitch.

Antisemitism cannot become normalized. Together, we can make Twitch a safe place for all.
