Twitter, suspend Sarah Huckabee Sanders for libeling Hillary Clinton
Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders just used Twitter to libel Hillary Clinton and her campaign spokesman Brian Fallon. It's time for Twitter to take action against "fake news." It's time for Twitter to suspend Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
In a recent tweet, Huckabee Sanders claimed that Fallon admitted that the "Clinton campaign colluded with Russia to spread disinformation about @POTUS and influence the election."
In fact, Fallon said no such thing, and Huckabee Sanders knows it. With one or more indictments imminent, Huckabee Sanders is trying to deflect attention away from Trump and refocus it on Hillary Clinton.
Here is what Huckabee claimed:
Here is what Fallon actually said:
Fallon is referring to the bombshell "Steele dossier," alleging collusion between the Russian government and Donald Trump.
What Huckabee Sanders wrote is not only a lie, and libelous -- and thus a violation of Twitter's rules -- but it's also a prime example of the very "fake news" that we have been begging American social media companies to take action on. It is a continuation of the lies Americans were fed throughout the election by Russia and its operatives, in collusion with members of the Trump campaign. And it's high past time that Twitter stepped in and adopted a policy of zero tolerance on "fake news."
Sign the petition and demand that Twitter suspend Sarah Huckabee Sanders for libeling Hillary Clinton and her campaign. Then ask your friends to do the same.
