Upon seizure of Trump Tower designate it Affordable Housing

Governor of New York

designate trump towers affordable housing

As champions for justice and equity, we must call out an opportunity to right a wrong.

A civil lawsuit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James' office proved that the Trumps have been wildly exaggerating their business assets for years. Trump's lawyers are now claiming that Trump is unable to post a $100 million bond for the $464 million he owes.

If and when there is a seizure of assets, we call on the Governor, Mayor, and state and local representatives to designate Trump Tower, located on 5th Avenue in New York, as affordable housing. The state of New York, like many cities, is facing an affordable housing crisis. Governor Hochul stated, "New York's housing crisis isn't going away, and I'm committed to doing everything in my power to make New York more affordable and livable for all."

Can you take 1 (one) minute and sign our petition to designate Trump Tower as an affordable housing unit?

Dear Governor Hochul,

You recently made the statement "New York's housing crisis isn't going away, and I'm committed to doing everything in my power to make New York more affordable and livable for all."

I urge you to keep that promise by designating Trump Tower an affordable housing unit, if and when it is seized by the state of New York in the civil suit brought by Attorney General Leticia James against the Trump family for defrauding the good people of New York and exaggerating their business assets.

Sincerely,
