Barnes & Noble Management

Workers at Barnes & Noble UWS are coming together to ensure we're not left behind. As Union Square flagship and Park Slope store workers are coming close to finalizing their contracts we too should cross the finish line with them. We're the model store for the company and we should be part of the first model union contracts and set the standard for all. United we can have the rights and protections only a union contract can afford. Let's finish our negotiations strong and united with the two other stores. Upper West Side Barnes & Noble union members, sign the petition below, let's tell management "us too" should have a fair union contract the same as our union siblings across NYC!

Let's agree to save needless time and money on both sides and wrap up bargaining. We're one city, one company and what you've agreed to with our union siblings in NYC we agree to. We are the model store, and we want to serve as a model and stop the tension between workers and management we face during contract negotiations. We can do that by quickly moving on the terms you've already stipulated to just a few subways stops south of our store.
