Given the chaos of the Tory Party and the damage it is doing to the economy and people's livelihoods, we call on Keir Starmer to work together with all opposition parties to make a joint call for a General Election now.
The unity must not stop behind the call for a general election. We need to force this chaotic party out, and get not just a new resident at number 10, not just a new government, but a new politics for a new country.
As Keir said himself at the Labour conference, “it’s time to put country before party”. The country needs serious grown-up progressive government. That means working together, to call an election, and to govern.
