We, the workers at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center (OPVMC), voted to join CWA Local 1168 last July so that we could stand together to improve our working conditions and take better care of our animal patients. But over the past year we have faced stiff retaliation from our employer and stalled contract negotiations. After nearly a year we are still fighting for our first union contract.

We're fighting for:
  • Safe staffing for our animals
  • Wages and benefits that will attract and retain qualified staff
  • A voice in the workplace
Please stand with us and sign the petition to tell Orchard Park Vet that they should bargain a fair contract now so that we can build a stable workforce, continuity of care for our community's pets, livable wages, and respect on the job.
