Imagine Action OC has partnered with the Democrats of Greater Irvine, and both organizations invite you to a Ballot Party and Wine Tasting at a private residence in the Turtle Rock neighborhood in Irvine, Friday May 18 at 6PM. The exact street address will be provided to those who RSVP and make a suggested contribution of $25 for supporters and $50 for sustainers.

Milton Grimes, Rodney King’s Defense Attorney, will talk about the California Voting Rights Act of 2001 - changing the election process from ‘at large’ to ‘district elections’, which provides greater access to elected positions for minorities in California. In Orange County he won trial verdicts against the cities of Buena Park, Garden Grove, Fullerton and San Juan Capistrano. He was inducted into the John M Langston Bar Association Hall of Fame.

Michele Musacchio of the League of Women Voters will demonstrate how to research candidates and campaign funding on Voter’s Edge California.

Laurel Davila, DGI's Field Organizer, will introduce the endorsed Democratic candidates in our district to guests.
