Meetings play a critical role in most social movements - helping organizations make decisions, share responsibilities and plan for their work. Unfortunately, many meetings are frustrating and discouraging. Learn
how to prepare for and facilitate meetings that build community and accomplish your goals.
Facilitator: Andy Mager is longtime community organizer, Coordinator and Social Movements Liaison at Syracuse Cultural Workers and part of the RiseUp Core Team.
There is a sliding scale fee of $0-$20 to attend. Please pay what you can, and don't let the cost keep you away if you'd like to come! Registration is limited to 20 people.
The workshop is part of the series Activist Skillbuilding for Justice, held fall 2022-winter 2023. It is organized by RiseUp for Social Action in collaboration with the Syracuse Peace Council and the Syracuse Center for Peace and Social Justice.
