Protect ID kids & babies by Urging Your State Senator to Vote NO on HB 243!
Idaho state legislators have rapidly pushed through a bill that completely eliminates child-to-staff ratios standards in the state. A child-to-staff ratio refers to the number of children/babies for whom an individual child care staff member is responsible for looking after and caring for; it is a foundational child care safety standard meant to protect babies and young children. The research is clear, higher child-to-staff ratios (meaning a higher number of children per staff member) can threaten the health and safety of a child.
Tell your Idaho state senator: NO on HB 243 and NO to deregulating care!
