Instructions:

3. You will hear “We are now connecting you to [Senator’s name].

4. Leave a message with the staff or a voicemail, using the script below.

5. Don’t hang up when you’ve finished! Press the * star button on your phone’s keypad to be connected to your other Senator.

6. You will again hear “We are now connecting you to [Senator’s name].

7. Leave a message with the staff or a voicemail.

8. Press the * star button to let us know you finished the call. Once you hear “There are no targets remaining” you can hang up.

I am calling about the Reconciliation bill because of how much harm it will do to our state.

This bill would rip healthcare and food away from our families to line the pockets of the mega-rich. And will take away life-saving gender affirming care from 276,000 transgender people. We all deserve the freedom to make decisions about our own bodies. That’s between us and our doctors- not politicians.

My Senator must vote in the interests of their constituents: No to banning gender affirming care. No to cutting Medicaid. No to cutting SNAP.
