The Phone Bank Team of Reclaim Our Vote announces the 100 Calls for TGIF - Friday Phone Bank series. From August 21st through October 30th, we're calling voters of color in North Carolina, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and other states, to get out the vote in this historic election year.  

More than ever during the current Covid-19 crisis, we need to take actions that will help voters of color in voter-suppression states avoid long lines on November 3rd by giving them crucial information related to absentee voting and early voting.  We need to remind them that voting is a community event--and we need to make sure they feel invited to become full members of that community!  

We're holding this fun, "come-as-you-are," snacks-on-hand, interactive phone bank every Friday, 4:00 PM to 7PM Eastern, / 1:00 PM to 4 PM Pacific, from now through October 30th. If you cannot make 100 calls in those three and a half hours--please commit to reaching a total of 100 calls by the following Saturday or Sunday, using our group Action ID.

We're also holding special Zoom phone bank training sessions for brand new ROV phonebankers, and/or phonebankers who have never called from their homes using NGP VAN, Mondays at 7:30 PM Eastern / 4:30 PM Pacific. Voters of color need to hear from us now more than ever, in our incredibly fast-changing voting landscape. And--we need to support one another in this work.
