Annual Meeting Overview

At this year's chapter convention, we anticipate...

• Voting on proposals to amend our chapter bylaws.
• Voting on various proposals from the membership to renew and revise our various campaigns, Working Groups, and Committees.
• Voting on our first ever chapter Priorities proposal.
• Report-backs from chapter leaders reviewing a year of ongoing socialist struggle.
• Hearing from a representative on our National Political Committee, and a special guest speaker from the Twin Cities DSA chapter to speak on the fight against ICE occupation.

And of course, celebrating a year of socialist organizing across the H-Town!

Important Dates

• March 21: Deadline to submit Chapter Bylaws Resolutions
• March 28: Deadline to submit Standard Resolutions
• April 4: Deadline to submit amendments to Resolutions
• April 8-10: Chapter Forums for Resolutions, Chapter Leaders, and SC candidates (to be announced!)
• April 11: Chapter Annual Meeting
  • SC election nominations can be made up until right before the vote at the meeting.

1. Anyone is welcome to attend, so fellow travelers and DSA-curious folks are invited, but only DSA members in good standing will be able to participate in chapter business.
2. Voting will be limited to all members who have previously attended at least one Chapter General Meeting.
3. Any member in good standing (i.e. current on dues or dues-waived) is entitled to run for elected positions in the chapter.
