ACTION DAY - April 6th: Heavitree and Whipton Barton

Let's get Jack Eade elected in Heavitree and Whipton Barton!
Heavitree & Whipton Barton is one of our key target seats for the upcoming County Council elections, and is as tight as you can get. The Greens are coming in strong with two sitting City Councillors in Heavitree and a strong base of support, but Labour are the incumbents and are fielding a high-profile City Councillor as their candidate. If we want to make Jack Heavitree & Whipton Barton's first ever Green County Councillor, we need push hard!
Our Exeter Action Days are a great way to get out and make a difference.
We will be mobilising campaigners from across Exeter, including seasoned volunteers, candidates, current councillors, and people who have never canvassed before. We are also being joined by Greens from across the South West, including West Dorset Green Party. We can guarantee buckets of positive energy, and we'll be focusing our campaigning in the areas around Heavitree Park, which should be looking stunning in the Spring sunshine.
Here's our plan for the day (timings may be subject to change):
10:00 - Meet at Parklife Café in Heavitree Park for a quick briefing, pep-talk and photos with County Council candidate Jack Eade
10:15 - 12:15 - The group will split up for canvassing the areas around Heavitree Park, led by experienced local volunteers
12:15 - 13:15 - Lunch at Parklife Café (optional)
13:30 - 16:00 - The group will split again for canvassing. If we have gotten lots done in the morning, those with bikes may cycle a short way to do a round in the Whipton half of the division
16:15 - 19:00 - Volunteers after-party at the Ship and Pelican, Heavitree's finest local establishment (optional)
