BC Political Action Training

With political uncertainty rising and Conservative support wavering, now is the time for unions to demonstrate strong leadership against the growing influence of Trump style politics. We must stand firm in advocating for our members and the broader public, ensuring that workers’ voices are heard and that the values of fairness, solidarity, and quality public services remain at the heart of Canada’s future.

To help union members fight for Canada’s future, the CLC is hosting Political Action Training in BC.

Political Action Conference for Union Leaders

The CLC is hosting two Political Action Conferences for Union Leaders. The Political Action Conferences are designed for local union leaders who want to engage their members in the upcoming federal election. These conferences will provide an in-depth look at the key issues facing working families, equip participants with strategies to mobilize workers effectively, and strengthen alignment between unions and the broader labour movement. Together, we will build a powerful path forward.

Engage, Organize, Mobilize: Canvassing for Change

We can’t win a labour friendly government without talking to workers. The Canvassing for Change workshops are designed for members who want to learn how to discuss federal election issues with their friends, family, co-workers, and neighbours, and to help win a worker-friendly government.

The best canvasses are fun, energetic, well-organized, and purposeful. Getting organized means learning to have tough conversations with our coworkers, loved ones, and neighbours.

Join us for this one-day training – a great introduction to organizing a canvass, discussing federal issues, working with volunteers, and talking to those affected by these issues.

We are offering 7 sessions in BC.

Hardworking people across BC are doing everything right but still struggling to get by – while big corporations rake in huge profits and our governments fail to push back.

It’s time to demand a better deal.

By working together, we can defeat Conservatives and elect strong champions for workers – but it's going to take all of us, rolling up our sleeves and organizing in our workplaces, our neighbourhoods, and online to make it happen.
