Delivering regular local newsletters is our 'secret weapon' for winning more Green Councillors

We have firm evidence, from across the country and in Exeter, that regular ward newsletters are the secret weapon which gradually helps undecided voters to switch to Green, and 'turns' previous Labour and Conservative voters. Receiving them regularly is key to success.

We have to deliver over 4000 newsletters in each ward that we are targetting - thats around every 4-6 weeks up to March. We have lots of great volunteers already, but we need more to ensure that every home in our 'target wards' receive the newsletters.

How does it work?

If you agree  to help deliver newsletters in the ward nearest to you, when a newsletter is ready, the ward organiser gets in touch to let you know that the newsletter is good to go, with a deadline of when it needs to be delivered by - usually around a fortnight from receiving the heads up.

You collect your bundle from a 'drop box' in someone's garden, and deliver it in your own time, but by the deadline. That's it - simples! One person delivering a newsletter should take between 1 - 1.5 hours and we can give people easier rounds (flat, terraced houses) or harder ones for the more energetic (more hills, larger round).

Please email hello@exeter.greenparty.org.uk to confirm that you are happy to be added to our delivery volunteers list, then someone will get in touch to confirm which ward delivery group you have been allocated to and check that you are happy with that.

And if you can think of a friend, neighbour or family member who might be interested in helping to deliver newsletters, do please encourage them to get in touch too.
