This summer, Common Cause Rhode Island is fighting to close a loophole that exempts some lobbyists from the Rhode Island Ethics Commission's gift rule. The Rhode Island Ethics Commission needs to hear from Rhode Islanders across the state that they must adopt the proposed fix and close the lobbyist loophole!

Common Cause Rhode Island will assist Rhode Islanders in submitting written comment to the Ethics Commission and participating in the Ethics Commission's in-person public hearing on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
