Contest Every Race

A new collaborative table is forming in Virginia to recruit Dems to run for over 1,000 races that could go uncontested otherwise.  This “Contest Every Race” table is meeting by videoconference/ phoneWeds. 4/17 at 12 noon ET or on Monday 4/29 at 7pm.

Contest Every Race provides a free program of texts and/or emails to local activists, proven to:

  • Increase candidate recruitment up to 300%

  • Reduce uncontested races by 11%


We’re also asking for your help identifying which races may already have a Dem running, so we can detarget those races.  

On the call, Contest Every Race will describe the full program in greater detail and clarify these leadership roles we hope you’ll take on.

We are working national and state-wide organizations to provide support to candidates if they decide to run and to let people know everything they need to know to run.
