Delivery of election literature - heads up for volunteers

Devon County Council election day is May 1st

Time for our Big Election Push

Just a couple of hours of your time between now and May 1st will really make a difference......

We are now in full election mode, with 1 final piece of election literature to deliver up to May 1st.  The campaign to win our first ever Green County Councillors for the city is going well but every vote counts and every leaflet increases the chance of another voter deciding to vote Green.

The delivery and other dates are set out below.

1. Please make a note of the deadlines so you can let us know, when asked by your Division Organiser, if you can deliver within the deadlines,
2. Could you deliver two rounds instead of one for one or more of the final deliveries? If just a few people do this, it would make a big difference. We don't currently have enough delivery volunteers to cver the rounds.
3. Do you have any friends, family or neighbours who might join in with delivery for these final weeks?  Please ask then let us know if anyone says

And remember, we guarantee that if you offer to help, we can give you a small or larger round according to what suits yoou. The small rounds take just one hour of your time to deliver.

LEAFLET 1 : Deliver late April

Calling cycling volunteers & keen walkers

We need people who like to cycle around town to help with three 'special deliveries' that only go a more limited number of people so much easier to whizz around on a bike.

Between April 1-14th.  We need cycling volunteers to:

• deliver a special leaflet to postal voters
• Deliver posters to Green voters.

And on Wednesday April 30th, the day before election day, we deliver a special encouraging leaflet just to people who  have told us that they will vote Green.  So typically, an average of 2 - 10 people in any street get the leaflet.

It's all hands on deck from 10.00am to around 7.00pm on election day. If you can walk and can spare just one hour, you could be the person who helps us win the election! An exciting party atmosphere guaranteed. More information on this soon but please note the date if you can spare even an hour that day between the hours of 10.00am - 7.00pm!
