Delivery dates from now to May 1st Election Day!

Delivery of Election Literature: April 2025
Devon County Council Election Day: Thursday May 1st
Hey, canvassing and newsletter delivery legends. Thanks so much for all amazing work you have put in up to now getting our message out to the good people of Heavitree. The work which you do is absolutely invaluable, and talking to residents and getting leaflets through letterboxes are the key factors in convincing people to take the plunge and vote Green. You are the absolute backbone of our operation, and we cannot thank you enough.
We are now in full election mode, with final pieces of election literature to deliver in the run-up to May 1st. We know that this is a big ask, so every extra volunteer really does count. The campaign to win your first ever Green County Councillors for the city is going well, but every vote counts and (as you well know) every leaflet delivered increases the chance of another voter deciding to vote Green.
This period is intense, we get that, so we don't want anyone to feel pressure to take on more than they feel comfortable with. That being said, every little helps, so it's worth considering the following:
- Could you deliver two rounds instead of one for one or more of the final deliveries?
If just a few people do this, it would make a big difference. - Do you have any friends, family or neighbours who might join in with delivery for these final weeks? Please ask then let us know if anyone says
Could you or anyone you know deliver an extra round in the Whipton Barton areas of the division?
We are currently lacking volunteers in these areas, which will be crucial if we're going to have our first Green county councillor. We can't pay for delivery during the short campaign due to campaign budget rules, so if we can't find volunteers to help, we can't deliver in those areas.
As well as the delivery rounds you have been allocated for the 'Three Reasons' leaflet, we are organising two special delivery action days. These will be taking place as follows:
- Saturday 12th April - Delivering Transition newsletters and/or Three Reasons in Whipton Barton
- Saturday 26th April/Sunday 27th April - Delivering our 'Shock Poll' leaflet to push undecided voters towards voting Green
These special delivery events will be fun, social occasions, with lots of volunteers cheering each other on to try to deliver as many leaflets as we can! Bring your own spatula. You can register your interest for these days by joining the WhatsApp groups below:

Calling Cycling Volunteers
We need people who like to cycle around town to help with three 'special deliveries' that only go a more limited number of people.
Between April 1st-14th, we need cycling volunteers to:
- Deliver a special leaflet to postal voters
- Deliver posters to Green voters
And, on Wednesday April 30th, (the day before election day) we deliver a special leaflet just to people who have told us that they will vote Green. This is typically an average of 2 - 10 people in any street.
If you can help with either of these special cycling deliveries, please contact Jonah on 07587181900 (text or WhatsApp) or email jonahcorren@gmail.com.
