At GidsCiti we do radical mutual aid and relationship building. We provide a safe space for community members to get the love and daily essentials they desire. GidsCiti also provides a space for youth to organize, and refer their families to other programs within our organization. This program promotes healing and interrupts violence of poverty, such as hunger, that comes from living in an area that our government has intentionally divested from for generations.

We aim to meet our community's needs. We are asking our Community Soldiers & supporters to commit to hosting a donation drive.

Sign up to host an item drive! Click through the 'Actions' to see which items you are interested in donating and the instructions & RSVP to the ones you can commit to. Then you can reach out to your network and share the event to collect those items and deliver them to GidsCiti within one month.

You can... send an email to your network asking to collect donations, fundraise, or shop our Amazon Wishlist, you can host a virtual party - and one of the Gids will join you!- or you can be as creative as you like.

If you decide to host a donation drive, you will be asked to commit to collecting the items and deliver them to Mama T at GidsCiti within 1 month.
