Iowans are exhausted and fed up with politics today. Frankly, so are we.

Instead of the endless culture wars and politics that dominate too much time at the State Capitol, we want to listen, hear what's important to you, and stay in touch. We also want to be a resource for union members and their families who may be having any trouble with state government.

It's people over politics.

Last session, we proposed bills aimed at lowering costs for working families, fair wages for a hard day's work, holding CEOs accountable when they've refused to pay promised wages, expanding collective bargaining, and strengthening workplace safety. While those bills weren't even brought up by GOP leaders, we're not giving up.

We are thankful to all the hardworking people and unions in Iowa that make this state strong and healthy.
