9:30 am Arrive and Check in/Register

9:30 am – 11:00 am – Visit the Committee Hearings at the Capitol Building

11:15 am – Press Conference at the Welcome Center

12:00 pm – Grab a Bite - Lunch provided by our sponsors

12:30 pm – 2:00 pm – Program: Hearing from Leaders and Legislators why these issues matter

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm - Making Your Voice Heard at the Capitol

3:30 pm – Bus Departs from Baton Rouge to New Orleans

Transportation

From New Orleans:

Carpool/BUS: Those seeking or offering a ride are asked to please meet at COSTCO 3900 Dublin St, New Orleans, LA 70118 at 7:00 am. There will be a bus available which will leave for Baton Rouge from COSTCO at 7:30 am SHARP. The bus will leave Baton Rouge at 3:30pm and return to New Orleans around 5:30 depending on traffic conditions.

Parking can be difficult – free parking is available on along the River. There are also paid parking garages

What to Wear

You are encouraged to wear a t-shirt representing any organization that you are affiliated with. Otherwise, we ask that you wear purple.
